So there was a slight issue due to UPX being ran on the executable before the version data was applied, which corrupted it. We now have to use UPX to keep the file size the same as the older versions, as the dll files it uses (and extracts from itself) increased in size due to updates to them.

Being packed with UPX, there’s a slight chance that your antivirus may trigger, because it’s either detecting the UPX or the self-signed certificate. Antiviruses known to do this are BitDefender, Avast, and AVG (which have always had beef with BunnyPad for some reason).

You can safely add BunnyPad to your exclusions list. My applications are always malware-free, and I scan them before uploading them to itch.io
